Heard of Daisy Nook? Well the story goes that in the 70's one night a woman was driving down the steep hill at Daisy Nook, then as she came to the bottom of it she heard a bang. She parks up, gets out and looks to see if she'd hit anything. Nothing. She gets back in the car and pulls away only to see the car behind her flashing her furiously. Before she has time to think about it she's stabbed in the neck and dies. Someone had got in the car after she'd pulled over. Ooooooerrrrrrrrrr!!!!
Used to shit me up that tale as a kid.

This actually happened. My grandad was a pub landlord many years ago and many of the barrow boys were meeting in his pub. He went to Central Station (formerly GMEX) with the barrow boys who were all standing on the platform wth bike chains, guns and other associated weapons and the Krays didn't even step off the train. They did a complete about turn and headed back to London. My grandad told my dad and he told me so I accept it as being true

Lots of stories confirm this(was told it was Piccadilly station), to Dave P it was only Manchester this happened
One of them was Dougie Flood i think who was well known around Moston/Harpurhey
