Glad he's dead, fairly confident if Iran don't do what USA and Israel tell them to, appointing a proxy leader, they will just carry on bombing them though, ultimately they now decide who the good and bad guys are in the modern World. How - how do we help them? Have you seen the size of Iran? The only way you can provide actual support is by committing massive land forces because the average Joe doesn't have access to the weaponry the regime has.

We know how well ground force commitment goes in the Middle East

I don’t think Trump will want boots on the ground so we’re probably going to see something like the Syria playbook.

Establish air control and use that to destroy military targets, weapons caches, take out leaders, large gatherings of troops etc.

Use the CIA and special forces to arm and train democratic rebels.

I don’t know how successful that will be and from what we’ve heard in the build up it’s going to be much harder because Iran has serious anti-aircraft capabilities that Assad didn’t.
