They went into those negotiations in bad faith, wanting the world to believe that they were pushing for a deal when in reality they didn't want a deal. Basically 'We tried everything in our power to make a deal happen, and Israel threw it in our face', and they are going to use that as the excuse for escalation.

There was a nuclear deal in place before Trump tore it up simply because it was brokered by Obama, and the Straights were open before the US piled in with Israel and attacked Iran. Basically this is all on the Trump administration, and it's all about control of the oil market and manipulation of stock prices to make Trump and his mates (including Vlad) more money.

News just in, Trump has appointed himself as the chairman of the Board of Hormuz.

This whole thing is similar to taxing yourself if other countries don't listen to you. (Tariffs).

What we are witnessing basically is an estate agancy sindicate turned into The Sopranos-like crew with no funny characters and 1+ milion army behind them.
 
Does he understand there is no international waters in the straight or the gulf of Oman?

tankers can hug coastlines and stay out of range until clear in theory
