Perhaps the dockyards have been busy. It’s odd how a country that’s had its whole navy sunk still has gunboats shooting at ships.

Are these a reputable source?
Going to take months to sort out.
FAFO....
With the United States no longer in the business of guaranteeing freedom of navigation at sea...
Other nations are eyeing their opportunity to cut up the world and seize their piece of the pie.

Indonesia suggests transit fees in key Australian shipping lane
Indonesia’s finance minister flagged charging tolls in the Malacca Strait, one of the world’s busiest international shipping lanes.www.afr.com
They'll make it worse rather than admitting it's an epic fuck up.This has got to be dafter than Operation Barbarossa by now, surely.
Epic fuck up.
“Cig pack” as big as that? Try a broad bean or the size of the brain of TrumpFrom a two week war then six weeks to no timeframe. Anyone would think the “world’s greatest country “ had made this escapade up on the back of a cig packet .
Maybe he means the 'nuclear' option? So, the imbecile has called off Witkoff and Kushner attending the talks.
"Also, we have all the cards, they have none! If they want to talk, all they have to do is call!!!"
What cards does he actually hold that have significant leverage, besides bluster and bully boy tactics?
Barrel of oil over 120 dollars now. :(
And how will they do that? Send ships that will be peppered with drones or boots on the ground? What they need to do is put pressure on usa and Israel to fuck off.I wonder at what point other countries have no choice but to go to war with Iran to open the Straight.
There is no excuse for either.Just how many of the anti-Semitic attacks are as a result of the murderous actions by Israel ?
Not defending the attacks, but many of the people with families

The difference is those who directly/intentionally target civilians to make their point are terrorists. When the British army occupied Derry and attacked those who fought against them, my Dad called the Irish terrorists while my Gran called them freedom fighters.
While substantial sums are given to politicians voting for/against action, we are only going to be left with potential future justice - you are right. Like Wes Streeting allegedly receiving 10k a month from private health yet running the NHS!The difference is those who directly/intentionally target civilians to make their point are terrorists.
Freedom fighters target the leaders/military.
The lines get blurred when "collateral damage" is deemed ok.
There isn't a single doubt war crimes are happening daily. The trouble is who is going to bring these people to justice?
Trails in the future isn't helping the innocent people dying right now.
I don't think targeting even civilians versus military is a clear enough distinction between terrorists, freedom fighters or enemy states. It was already grey but in recent years it is even more so.The difference is those who directly/intentionally target civilians to make their point are terrorists.

Bang on with your last sentence. Can you imagine a 'solution' in Derry like the one in Gaza? Once you actually think about that, it makes Netanyahu's behaviour (and others before him) even more disturbing.I don't think targeting even civilians versus military is a clear enough distinction between terrorists, freedom fighters or enemy states. In a way, terrorism works if the rational target want to avoid it or minimise it quickly by finding compromise and working towards peace. The worst case imo is when terrorism becomes endless vengeance because no one is willing to end it. This leads to genocide imo.
(So glad that Northern Ireland's peace process was at a time of rational future thinking politicians... and not todays' nutcases)
