US & Israel attack Iran

Any idea on casualties, because I can't imagine there were just a few cuts and bruises needing a plaster?

I’ve no idea the true casualty numbers but wiki has these numbers which are similar to the US figures already released 13 American soldiers.;(

“In the 40 days following the start of hostilities against Iran by the US and Israel, at least 13 US service personnel were killed and 381 wounded.

One source lists Israel as suffering a total of 23 deaths.

Some 43 other countries are also affected and 23 of these have sustained fatalities.

The estimated overall count of deaths including civilians had mounted to at least 10,000” :(
Is Iran blocking ships from countries that have nothing to do with the war ?
Iran is blocking Israel the USA and countries who have helped the USA (that’s us) letting UK bases be used? I’m not sure on UK. Everyone else is okay.

The Americans are blocking everyone until Monday when the US will escort all shipping out. ??

It’s not clear Trump could change his mind anyway ?

This is all the fault of the US and Israel however Iran have been incredibly belligerent and the leadership is a proponent of evil with its sponsorship of proxy groups and suppression of its own people, so while it pains me to say it (and I can't believe I'm saying it) I think I'd now support a tactical nuke launch at an Iranian military site, or just offshore as a warning. If Iran responds by attacking GCC infrastructure then sadly it would be time for shock and awe (and I lived in Tehran as a young child and know how beautiful it is).

Hopefully that doesn't happen and Iran backs down but I don't see it.

The impact on the world currently is too severe and Iran doesn't own the Strait of Hormuz anyway.
You’d support Trump firing a nuke?

Christ, I’d stick to talking tripe about Arsenal ;)

Babyape: It’s best to avoid his opinions on Arsenal too especially on how he rates Declan Rice.
The current over hyped English Midfielder (mainoo not far behind).
My guess is he's hoping to catch a few with that post.

Using a tactical nuke would open Pandora's box and justify the use in all kinds of other situations. What would then stop Russia from using them in Ukraine for example? If one is ever going to be used, the circumstances need to justify the consequences of doing so. This is a fairly low level conflict in the grand scheme of things, with only the economic side being all that impactful. Do we really want a world where tactical nukes are being deployed to resolve economic issues?
The distinction surely is that the use of a tactical nuke on Ukraine would most likely have significant radioactive consequences for the western part of Russia. Agree with the rest of your analysis though.

CONFIRMED today by Iran and associated news, the aircraft carrier Gerald Ford has turned and is heading home she is leaving the straight. Iran has agreed to open the straits at the same time as the US agrees to open their blockage and leave the question of a ND to a later date ??

I-pray this is really happening and Trump doesn’t change it in10 minutes time

Agree but I reckon that's where we'll end up.

I suppose if Iran does attack US ships who are escorting civilians ships that would justify a NATO Art 5 call and NATO can get involved in dismantling Iran.
Why does Iran need dismantling?

If Trump and Netanyahu are now the world's police, what other countries, aside from Venezuela and Cuba, need dismantling?
Personally I've never liked Burma, can I nominate them?

Iran was not a threat to anyone bar its own people and Israel/Yemen (by proxy) and yet it's very existence is threatened

Agree Trump and Netanyahu are the aggressors, ten thousand deaths in this invasion currently and we have to rely on China to stop the madness.

Another point we see America and Israel as our partners but maybe in the last century they were, where do we go now, if Russia attacked us

So detached from reality.

The people that think this will just end with him resigning or Trump not being President are even more detached from reality (and it hurts me to say that).

They voted for this administration not by mistake but for a SECOND TIME.

This is who they are and will continue to be for decades and they breed.. so they will be this way for millenia.

It's time to start believing that America is not your friend but instead is the enemy who should not be trusted.

That suggests that Putin gave a bollocks about people living in the Western part of Russia.

Iran just launched a drone strike on the UAE port of Fujairah.

If confirmed it's time to annihilate Iranian infrastructure.

Lol they hit a super carrier Gerald Ford earlier and it's out of commision right now.
End of the day straits got to be opened one way or another and yes he was wrong to go to war with Iran and yes Isreal pushed it but now they need to get the job done and you will probably not agree with that but that’s my opinion .
