US Politics Thread

Think they sited a Wall Street journal poll.

Have heard some anecdotal stories from a guy who spends a lot of time around college campuses that claims the enthusiasm isn’t what it was last time around. That’s purely anecdotal.
I don’t think the 100m total early votes cast so far is accurate.

The best I have found is just off 60m as of this afternoon, per NBC.

I am also not sure about the ethnicity/racial breakouts, as I have not seen them anywhere.

Which source was providing those?

Have heard almost 100 million people have voted already. Poll says 25% of black males voted for Trump. Black women, however, seem to be remaining loyal to the Democrats.

Evidence seems that turnout is lower amongst minorities. If Trump wins 15% of the black vote and turnout is projected to be lower than 2020 amongst minorities, Harris cannot win.

It’s a big if though…
Speculative. 2020 was a unique year. There was an external incentive to mail vote and vote early.

So comparing 2020 to this year makes no sense. It will be more comparable to 2016.

Not sure Bill is winning any hearts and minds here. Who is the genius behind this strategy?

Surely not ;-)

How is Bill's history lesson about Israel any different than Putin's history lesson about the Russian empire.

Why should anyone still care about what that doddering old sex pest thinks.

Just because the Republicans are led by a rapist doesn't mean it should be okay to bring out a sexual predator on the campaign trail.

As if she hasn't got enough doddering cunts undermining her campaign ;-)
