So yes this is a bad move by Biden, but Trump has done worse in his first term, see Manafort, Stone, Flynn etc . And he will do worse this term.

Whilst I disagree with the pardon, Hunter Biden was treated unfairly. In a bid to remain neutral, the Biden DoJ allowed itself to be bullied by Republicans into prosecuting someone for crimes that are very rarely prosecuted.What a surprise, Biden is just another self serving politician ****
