The current state of US politics is that the vast majority of Republicans are out of touch with reality. They tune into Fox News and clamor for whatever Tucker Carlson says - Tucker claims that there's no reason to favor Ukraine instead Russia in the current conflict, that Ukraine isn't even a Democracy, and that hate for Putin is simply a RINO/Democrat political ploy.

I browse Fox News from time-to-time just to monitor what the Right thinks - and there's some pushback against Tucker's stance on Russia - but it's muted. The most damning comments against Tucker read somewhat like this - "Tucker, this is the first time I disagree with you. Russia has a right to invade as you say, but I think maybe you're a bit too harsh on Ukraine."

Hilary was absolutely correct - the RIght are deplorable.
