US Politics Thread

I’d ask you to read his post and mine again and maybe you’d figure out why your point has absolutely nothing to do with mine, but you won’t, or can’t.

Also you aren’t sorry.
Of course I'm not sorry. What would I be sorry about? It's a manner of speaking. It serves the same purpose as 'excuse me.' But you know that and are just playing stupid. Typical.

And I read you r comment already. It's dumb to challenge an anecdotal position. If you can reason, and I know you can, that there are quite a good number of moderates who believe what he espoused. All I'd require for him to make that claim is talk to 2 or 3 of them. It's how anecdotal evidence works.

Its really no different from your anecdotal evidence of your military friend who was a republican but was totally done with the Trump nonsense. That story you repeated often is no more reminiscent of any real reality than his anecdote of moderates agreeing with Trump.

Just like it wouldn't matter if no one believed you. Your belief is not required here either.

That's the point.

God fucking dammit. Are you learning-impaired? I’m not saying some people don’t think this, I’m saying this . . .

. . . “Even the most moderate despair at the way Biden's presidency is unfolding.
You now hear 'well it wouldn't have been like this under Trump'..”

. . . Is horseshit.

If ONE person said this, sure. The implication is that this is the CONSENSUS of those he’s “surveyed”.

Thought this might be the appropriate thread. Been watching the SC and appellate court appointment interviews. I like both very much so far.

ha ha ha ha

A bit of freudenschade for sure.

People - in actuality - sometimes differ markedly with their public veneer. And this affects both the left and the right.

The left - however - seem much more willing to call out their own than the right; and in some sort of cosmically ridiculous state of perfect irony, it's the "moral majority" who are anything but moral.
