Jimmy Tesla has been fortunate enough to live, what many Americans might describe as, a very good life, safe from the vagaries that hurt and damage the lives of those less fortunate than him. Indeed, it is the very “Fvck you!” of it all in which he revels that may, one day, be his comeuppance. But then, he may even escape that, as many do.
However, what he CAN never escape is the litany of naive, silly, preposterous, outrageous, and frankly idiotically obvious political statements he has made. Why? Because they are here for posterity!
He thinks THIS midterm is going to be different, because MAGA will make it so. Sadly, he has no memory of the losses suffered by Trump in the midterms, but I’ll bet he remembers Obama’s losses!
THIS IS WHO SUPPOSEDLY INTELLIGENT PEOPLE ARE NOW…IDEOLOGICAL ZEALOTS SPECIALIZING IN INFANTILE IDIOCY.
It would have been a long shot for Biden to hold on to a tight House and a 50-50 Senate in an identifiably good year. However, BECAUSE THE ECONOMY IS SO STRONG, ESPECIALLY IN COMPARISON TO CHINA, EUROPE and JAPAN, DEMAND IS OUTSTRIPPING SUPPLY, THE DOLLAR IS HISTORICALLY STRONG, AND GLOBAL INFLATION IS RUNNING AMOK!
As President, he has granted more drilling permits than Trump, but oil companies don’t want to drill, they want PERMISSION TO DRILL ON THEIR SCHEDULE, which is not now, because they’re making record profits from the OPEC+ $80 price floor!
As President, he has done the only thing possible in that case, which is to supply as much oil from the SPR as possible.
Sadly, the Cartel, and the US oil companies that profit from it, hold more sway on prices at the pump than the President!
On crime, Republicans scream BLUE murder, when IN ACTUALITY it is RED MURDER! Crime is worse in the states Trump won… the so-called RED STATES!

Yet, with blanket coverage on Faux News of “urban crime” (read: those pesky black folk) and talk of NYC, SFO and Chicago being uninhabitable (except they have some of the highest populations and population densities in the Nation!), you would think the Red States are Mayberry RFD…even though the reality is this:
- The rate of murders in the US has gone up at an alarming rate. But, despite a media narrative to the contrary, this is a problem that afflicts Republican-run cities and states as much or more than the Democratic bastions.
- In 2020, per capita murder rates were 40% higher in states won by Donald Trump than those won by Joe Biden.
- 8 of the 10 states with the highest murder rates in 2020 voted for the Republican presidential nominee in every election this century.

Which city, l’il ‘ol Jacksonville, FL or big, mean and nasty San Francisco, CA had MORE ACTUAL MURDERS…not even per capita, just OUTRIGHT MORE MURDERS?
Jacksonville, a city with a Republican mayor, had 128 more murders in 2020 than
San Francisco, a city with a Democrat mayor, despite their comparable populations.
WAS THAT ONE TOO HARD?
OK, how about nasty old Nancy Pelosi in SFO and ever so regal, young and clean cut Kevin McCarthy, who will be her replacement?
Who has the worst homicide rate? That Liberal letting the criminals roam free or that bastion of law and order out in Bakersfield?

Bakersfield, a city with a Republican mayor that overwhelmingly voted for Trump.
While we are fact checking, murder rates are, on average, 40% higher in the 25 states Donald Trump won in the last presidential election compared to those that voted for Joe Biden. In addition, murder rates in many of these red states dwarf those in blue states like New York, California, and Massachusetts.
And finally, many of the states with the worst murder rates—like Mississippi, Kentucky, Alabama, South Carolina, and Arkansas—are ones that few would describe as urban. Only
2 of America’s top 100 cities in population are located in these high murder rate states. And not a single one of the top 10 murder states registers in the top 15 for population density.

There is barely a whisper, let alone an outcry, over the stunning levels of murders in these and other REPUBLICAN places, yet Republicans GASLIGHT THE AMERICAN IDIOCRACY INTO BELIEVING ITS A “JOE BIDEN PROBLEM!”
And, before anyone thinks I’m too down the rabbit hole, I think DEMOCRATS HAVE THE WORST MESSAGING IN AMERICA!
So, Jimmy, as you cream your shorts on Tuesday over what seems to be historically inevitable and normal, you might want to consider a few things:
1) WHY IS IT THAT AMERICAN VOTERS ALWAYS SEEM TO VOTE OUT THE PARTY IN POWER IN THE MIDTERMS?
2) WHY DO YOU THINK REPUBLICANS GERRYMANDER WHENEVER POSSIBLE AND ARE SO DESPERATE TO CONTROL THE LEVERS OF POWER THAT DETERMINE ELECTION OUTCOMES?
Don’t let the pendulum hit you in the ass on the way out!
