Whatever man. I know what I see on the news and read in the papers. As much as my kids want to go into the city to see the Christmas tree at Rockefeller center this year, there's no way in hell we are going. I would not feel safe and I would not take the subway, for fear of someone coming behind me and pushing me onto the tracks of an oncoming train. Which is happening with alarming regularity.

So let's see . . . there are 20 million NYC subway trips taken each week (https://new.mta.info/coronavirus/ridership) . . . 25 people pushed onto tracks thus far in 2022 (https://nypost.com/2022/10/27/nyc-subway-shoves-exceed-number-of-incidents-compared-to-last-year -- this says 22 but another article says 25 so let's be conservative) . . . carry the 3 . . . that's a 0.0000003% chance of being pushed onto the tracks.

Better chance of you being electrocuted while you type a post, so I'd log out were I you.
