Steve Scalise. A republican injured in a mass shooting has compared the new gun laws to removing planes after 9/11.

Fucked up.

Loads of Republicans are claiming they aren't going to watch such 'garbage'. and people should ignore it.

Well if it's as garbage as they say it is you'd think they would be actively encouraging people to watch it. Strange that isn't it?
Why would you encourage people to watch garbage?

That said, I personally would be watching.

A crazy Nutjob planned and intended to attempt to assassinate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh...

Barely any discussion...

@Trevor Morley's Tache Yes Republicans have put forth a bull to increase funding for the protection of Justices. Which includes improving armed protection, surveillance detail, and possibly upgrades to their homes.

Next question.

Got to keep them under guard in case they start drinking the liberal kool-aid?

Agree about SCOTUS and that it *should not* be political - but is.

Disagree entirely about the power of legislation to overcome SCOTUS. Any ruling passed into law against - say abortion, or gun rights, and so forth - will be challenged by the Right - and important laws are going to wind up in Supreme Court - and given the bias, no legislation passed into law that's anti-abortion or anti-gun or pro-LGBTQ or pro-immigration or pro environment or pro science or pro separation of religion and state - none of them, are going to stand the test of "constitutionality."

SCOTUS is the Right's trump card.
Ridiculous system

That was a powerful hour.

Not sure if I'm half asleep but could have sworn Melly called Pence the president. Did they invoke the 25th amendment temporarily or use it as a threat to get Trump to stand his goons down?

“Barely any discussion”. An absolute lie. But I understand why you’re nervous. The train you’ve hooked yourself to is falling off the bridge for all to see.

What’s there to discuss? Did you discuss Steve Taubert with everyone? And he wasn’t suicidal and begging for psychiatric help.

It’s all over the news. Hundreds are discussing it. We’re not. So what?
My bad, I thought it was relevant political news. I guess not
