They were taking pictures of trains and a statue according to the honourable republican!
They also took pictures of the office door and corridor leading to Jerry Naddler's office who was a target for the insurrectionists on Jan 6.

VERY strange thing for a Republican supporter to take a picture of.

Essentially Loudermilk needs to answer these kind of questions in sworn testimony otherwise it's invalid.

"I haven't been asked"

I think he's talking shite, the committee know it and the CCTV is the opening salvo to say come forward you're up on a possible sedition charge.

He's lying about being asked.

Looks like Eastman is f*cked.

Eastman can sink Trump with what he knows and the DoJ have more than enough to go after Eastman now. The fact that the Justice Department have asked for witness transcripts from the committee is very telling I honestly think the committee have played this as well as they could and a lot of people are running very scared right now.

This is the golden eagle "statue" they were apparently taking a photo of... (you have to expand the photo because it's not very big)

Always from candidates of one party

Seems like a nonce. Met his wife at a motel...first date must have been on the clock.

Thick fuck giving lectures about other people's learning. No gorillas in Zimbabwe and they don't live in caves apart from on movies or TV. Mad Cow disease isn't spread like that either.

But I suppose it's just locker room talk to degrade black folk like that.

You'd think there'd be more conservatives with reasonable opinions.

Instead, we have insurrectionists, white nationalists, conspiracy theory spreaders, vaccine deniers, climate change skeptics, and so on, all under the umbrella of the conservative party.

And so I ask...

What if some of those deplorable elements were part of a party I really loved? Would I hold silent against these elements just to win election? I absolutely would not.

And then I ask myself... why, do Republicans endorse such?

What's most depressing about politics in the USA is the complete disregard for facts and science on the Right.

Currently the Right embraces and/or is composed of lunatics - disregarding facts in favor of palatable mistruths.

I think that many of the deranged would actually be reasonable if presented with facts, absent a lying echo chamber of disinformation.

Misinformation if left unchecked is going to drive countries such as mine into authoritarianism.

I've stated this sentiment above...

The biggest threat to a free Democracy is the "free and fair" spread of lies and disinformation.

If we are to preserve Democracy, regulations need to be put in place to curb the spread of lies and anti-factual opinions.

One might reasonably object to such regulations on many bases - whereas such bases are mostly theoretical. Meanwhile we have the deluded Right seeking to curb non-extant "voter fraud." - for example.

Might such regulations ever pass in the USA - not in the near future for certain.

At the same time, most media outlets are responsibly curbing disinformation... but absent laws this isn't enough Those seeking false reinforcement of mistruths need only turn to Fox... and it seems to a near-future Muck-controlled Twitter where anything goes.
