No I fucking didn’t and you know it.
I called you out for your misogyny and ignorance.

Hello, my name is Bigga... and I hate wimmin.

What about parasitic twins?

And If you kill someone with their womb partner inside them is it a double homicide?
Yeah, I didn’t think through my strategy at all.

Theres no way there would be room in the womb for 8 guns when a woman is expecting octuplets.

We‘re saying these things in jest, but I bet one of these scenarios ends up in court over there.

Can I ask another open question to yourself and everyone else willing to engage it (not my question but one I've seen of late)?

In the States (I don't know if it's the same here), if a woman is pregnant by a matter of early weeks and she is, unfortunately murdered, the perpetrator is charged with a 'double homicide'?

Why would that be the case if a foetus is 'not viable' before a certain age of weeks?
Not the case over here

SCOTUS has ruled 6-3 that a teacher (public servant) has First Amendment rights to pray in a public place.

The dissent notes it overrides previous consistent protection of the students from teacher/peer pressure.

I'm waiting for the first anti-gay prayer session to break out.

Only a matter of time before they rule compulsory evangelical Christian prayer in public schools, regardless of a student’s religious beliefs (or lack there of), is constitutionally protected.

They will not stop until the separation of church and state is completely obliterated and they have established an Evangelical Christian Fascist regime.

Contraceptives are next, then the full evisceration of voting rights and campaign finance regulations (they’ve been working on that at the state and federal level for some time), then re-criminalisation of gay sex, then the dissolution of federal protections for gay marriage.

And anyone that thinks they won’t eventually impose this evangelical Christian doctrine on states that attempt to protect woman, gay, and minority rights is woefully naive (at best).

Their rulings about when things should be left to the states and when the federal government should define rights are already completely arbitrary (beyond whatever allows them to install the doctrine, that is). There are already planned challenges to protective laws in liberal states with the expressed purpose of making their way to the now mostly far-right appellate/Supreme courts to be struck down.

And many Republican led states are looking to pass laws that criminalise a woman leaving the state to have an abortion in another state where it is still legal. Some even going so far as to setup databases whereby pregnant women are required to register when leaving their state of residence so they can be easily tracked. Many of the abortion bans already now on the books do not even allow for exceptions in the case of rape or incest and several are written in such a way that miscarriages are effectively criminalised (many women have already been prosecuted for miscarriages before Roe v Wade was even struck down under those laws).

As I have said, this is a slow-motion far-right coup that has been going on for decades, but they were able to accelerate it under Trump (flipping the appellate and Supreme courts with far-right judges). And it will not stop until either the far-right agents are removed, all states have been brought in line with the Christian-Fascist model, or there is another civil war.

This has been the plan for decades and now that the minority far-right have been able to grab enough power to begin to reverse the political, cultural, and economic progress they have loathed since the days of Reagan, they aren’t going give it up without real conflict.

They are working to ensure that it does not matter how many people turn out to vote in local, state, and federal elections, far-right republicans will be in power.

They want minority rule, so they can slowly punish (and eventually subjugate) the heathen majority.

And yet some of us on here were scoffed at when we said Trump's election could easily lead to a rise of Right Wing and religious extremism and potentially lead to the break up of the Union...

Yet here we are at the beginning of the Handmaid's Tale.

Late announcement by the January 6th Committee. New hearing tomorrow at 1pm (Western I think).
With special (unknown) witness. Suggestions online that it is Ali Alexander.

Seems rather coincidental that they seized John Eastman's phone last week and now we have this.

Dis gon be goooood.

Where's the popcorn?

Sure mate what ever makes you feel good “trans” wayyyy that’s 8 times now. And sure you can have all the points you want for spelling Desantis in one go.

it’s just crazy how we are talking about kids saying they are trans and gender reassigning at that young of an age. How many cases there are of kids regretting and not fully comprehending.

We are talking about a world where what is a woman is up for discussion. And referred to as birthing person… bloody hell.

Don’t be surprised if you see families going back to church and number of church goers going up in the coming years where people want to get back to family values and a stable family structure around kids.

Now I ain’t got nothing in this fight. I don’t live in the States nor have any wish to ever live there, but politically speaking which ever side of the fence you are when it comes down to people’s kids, that’s something you don’t mess with. And politically Desantis capitalsing on the bill will just see him get a lot of votes. And the woke left politics is just delivering the White House to him should he run for 2024.

Ps: California is a shithole
High taxes, rampant homelessness, woke left politics. ;)

I take umbrage at the phrase "woke left"!

I am left and don't subscribe to all these views, although I don't rail against the freedom of action for adults.

What you're seeing is "woke liberalism" in action. Liberal is what the Dem voter pertains to be, not socialist. The "woke" bit can be seen as a foot in both camps, not committing to either position, fully.

Only my opinion, but even I get tired of the 'wokeness' of some things when it has no boundaries and puberty blocking gender reassignment for children, not fully understanding hormonal emotional positions, has my ire.

This is where I stand too.

I too was on the left as a young man. I find myself comfortably Center Right these days.

Unless things change drastically on multiple fronts, Im definitely voting for DeSantis in 2 years.

I've already said it, barring any new future changes, Ron Desantis will get my vote.
You won’t even need to vote. It’s already priced in and DeSantis will win. The two party system is a complete sham. Until we go to a populist vote (we won’t. Ever) it’s pretty pointless voting during presidential cycles.

You can say vote in the local elections, which do matter, but with the gerrymandering that’s almost pointless as well (generally speaking, meaning in almost all districts). You can say primary the constituents where that party is locked in, but again that’s generally pointless as well because the establishment will just pump endless money into campaigns to combat the grass roots movement.

We’re a center right country anyway (moving far right) so you won’t have to stress much about politics moving forward. :-/

Looks like the witness at the hearing today is likely Cassidy Hutchinson, Meadows' former aide.

If you've been watching the hearings, she was the one who gave the list of individuals who requested pardons.

I expect there will be more to this.

I expect Meadows is sh*tting himself right now if that's the case because it appears that EVERYTHING leaning up to Jan 6 and beyond went through Meadows.

I bet she's been waiting for this opportunity for a long time. With any luck she will throw him under the bus.

Ali Alexander will be a hostile witness at best. Pretty pointless putting him on the witness stand as he will just obfuscate or plead the 5th unless they've offered him a deal already. I don't see it.
