Let's see, in the other thread you don't have a problem with Biden going cap in hand to the Saudis for oil, when Biden slagged them off during the Pres run over the murder of a journalist.

Now you're okay with Biden happy to fund neo nazis because they aren't in the US. Your straw man is impressive.

And watching you dance around factual events is quite funny.

So, I guess for you "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" even if they nazis.

Good job I never mentioned Biden's failure to codify RvW, his distinct lack of support amongst young Dem voters (95% against him), lack of support in general from Dems (64% against him) and polling super low in general.

If I mentioned those facts, you might jump out a window...

All I could think of at the Summit Biden had with the Saudis was the leadership looking at Joe and thinking. "You need us more than we need you."

The US empire is crumbling. The countries they subjugated in the past for their resources are going to overtake them and other Western Nations. Probably not in my lifetime, but it's beginning now.

The Dollar is failing. BRICS is rising, hence the proxy war in Ukraine. Whilst this is going on the Middle East nations are developing tech and wealth strategies that outgrow the rapacious fossil fuel needs of the US and Europe.

The times are a changing. But too many people in power are either willfully ignorant of it or trying to shore themselves up against it.

The dollar is failing? What’s the new world reserve currency going to be, the Turkish lira? The BRICS is rising? Dude, do you think this is 1997? Have you paid attention to what’s happening in any of those nations?

Don’t disagree that the times are changing and the US has its issues but FFS lay off the ancient hyperbole and pick up a copy of The Economist once in awhile. Global powers ALL have problems and most have problems worse than the US. Just because you’d like to see our admittedly Insufferable arrogance shoved back down our throats is no reason to proclaim the end of days.

Quite a serious accusation to throw around and pretty intriguing. Much of what you write has a kernel of truth and some is, well hyperbole. Do you have a link to some evidence that the US/ Biden is consciously, deliberately funding Neo nazis in Ukraine?

I don't know much about the author of the first but the piece is not unequivocal, merely suggesting that some of the aid/ weapons poured into Ukraine may fall into the hands of Neo nazis. The second piece, well I can hardly give it any credit as the head of Duma (who I also had to google would say that.

Interesting that the US politician it quotes is Marjorie Taylor Green, who is pretty unhinged.

I've no doubt there are Neo nazis in Ukraine, just like in every other country. Haven't you taken a kernel of truth here, that in their efforts to support the democratically elected government of Ukraine resist the illegal invasion by Russia and in the process not having absolute certainty about where all the funds/ weapons will turn up and lurched into hyperbole? Or do you have some more credible sources than Green and Duma to support the claim?

First of all, I appreciate discussion in good faith rather than the outright hand-wringing, abuse and denial from the poster before.

Secondly, the Azov Battalion fucking hate Zelenkskyy and have threatened to off him a few times, now. But, at this point, they have a greater issue they're concentrating on hence why the Ukraine pres isn't an issue as long as he keeps arming them with US weapons, much people would love to deny this.

Anyway, lots have been written about them, except the ordinary citizen that takes in MSM will only know about them if MSM lets them know.

The fact check piece I quoted gave a potted history of the far rights popularity and influence and it certainly seems it’s waned over the years. I’m not sure what can be taken from a 2015 article such as the one you’ve linked to.

Ironically the Russian invasion has served to increase the stock of the Azov but not as much I suspect as Zelensky’s stock has risen.

Will be interesting to see what the mood is in Ukraine if or when this conflict ends and the country is trying to refind itself. A surge of nationalism?

No more credible sources than Marjorie Taylor Green or Duma to substantiate the accusation that the US/ Biden is funding neo nazis?
