Vance endorsed his half brother. The winner got 82% of the popular vote. The winner was not Vance's half brother. Toxic endorsement.

Whilst it's true "Bowman [Republican]secured one of the lowest percentages for a second-place candidate in Cincinnati's mayoral primary history."

It's worth noting that -

"Cincinnati is a heavily Democrat-leaning city, with voters choosing Kamala Harris over President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election by 76 percent to 24 percent. All nine Cincinnati City Council members are also Democrats."

"Republicans had not fielded a candidate for the Cincinnati mayoral race since 2009"

"Bowman faces an uphill battle as the city has not elected a Republican mayor in over 50 years."

"But Pureval [Democrat]lamented the low turnout in the election after only 10 percent of eligible voters headed to the polls."

10% lol

No, she's very qualified. Let's see...
* She's blindly loyal to Trump
* She can lie through her teeth

Um, what else?.. Oh, yeah,
* She's a notorious drunk
Well, a supposed drunk. She denies the allegation.
If GOP Senators managed to scupper Ed Martin then they should be blowing this Faux News quack nut job out of the water

Did a medical degree but dropped out before fully qualifying and then became some alternative therapy quack.
I think you mean his other nomination for Surgeon General, Casey Means.

KS55 was referring to Jeanie Piro who is 'former well respected' judge (questionable) and current Fox News host who has appeared drunk/high on live TV on numerous occasions.

I personally wouldn't trust her to run a bath, but she's great at milking Trump's ego on TV, so here we are...

Retired Supreme Court Justice David Souter, who served on the nation’s highest court for 19 years, has died at the age of 85.

Souter, who retired from the court in 2009, died “peacefully” at his New Hampshire home, according to a statement from the Supreme Court.

He was born in Melrose, Massachusetts, in 1939, and appointed to the Supreme Court by George H.W. Bush in 1990 after serving as attorney general of New Hampshire.

Despite being appointed by a Republican, Souter leaned left on issues like abortion, the death penalty and the balance of church and state.

“Justice David Souter served our Court with great distinction for nearly twenty years,” Chief Justice John Roberts said in the court statement. “He brought uncommon wisdom and kindness to a lifetime of public service. After retiring to his beloved New Hampshire in 2009, he continued to render significant service to our branch by sitting regularly on the Court of Appeals for the First Circuit for more than a decade. He will be greatly missed.”

Souter, a Harvard and Oxford (Rhodes Scholar) grad, retired from the High Court in 2009. He was replaced by Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who was appointed by then-President Barack Obama.
