So you have no problem with collective punishment of other people but get arsey on the internet at the suggestion that Americans are collectively responsible for the actions of their government? No wonder you ended up with 12 years of a Trump psychodrama and still can't work out why.

It is still incredible, or a complete indictment of an appalling educational environment, that people who employed overwhelming numbers of undocumented immigrants, hadn’t previously grasped that voting in a fascist with anti immigration policies would result in their own demise.
Presumably that old trope of… ‘some of my best workers are immigrants, but they’re great, we just need to stop the others’

I can’t believe it taken me 3.5 years to realise ‘Truth Social’, is the US equivalence of the soviet/russian fact-lite dictatorship mouthpiece Pravda.

Pravda = truth in Russian. Doh me.

If you can’t beat them… join them… was not something I thought would happen till November 2015.

I did not know that but my Russian language skills are non existant.
 
Sooner or later dictatorships descend into chaotic violence. This is now the case in America. LA is under siege from the national guard sent illegally by Trump and running battles between them and the local population are characterised by clouds of smoke and gas from the ordnance fired. Other cities are less volatile but the big demos are planned for next week to coincide with Trump’s military parade on his birthday.
Third world chaos.
 
For weeks the DoJ has told the court in the García deportation case that it was impossible to carry out their order to get him back. When the DoJ refused to answer Discovery questions the judge gave permission to Garcia’s attorney to petition for contempt of court proceedings against DoJ officials, possible including Pam Bondi.
Surprise surprise, they returned García to USA within 36 hours. They are now prosecuting him for alleged immigration offences committed in 2016, when…. er ……Trump was President.
A further deportee has also been returned in the face of court action.

Not third world chaos. Indeed hardly any chaos. These demos are barely significant at all.

Rather classic fascist playbook of using minor disorder to justify imposing martial law.

Note also direct threats from the Leader to use state power against rival who talked of financing the opposition yesterday.

This is a fascist coup. Watch it in real time.

The chaos is coming from ICE and the Guard. To say there is hardly any is not correct. See quote by Newsome. Hegseth is now threatening to send in marines.
