Yes. You have to give her credit for standing up in the end and confronting the immorality of the Trump regime. For that alone, I wish her well.

Mayors must be pragmatists to get anything done. He can espouse any political philosophy he wants but at the end of the day if the subway doesn’t run on time and the potholes don’t get fixed and there’s garbage everywhere, that’s what he’ll be judged on by his constituents, and rightly so.

Agree. Presidents are elected by the 10ish swing states that will flip blue or red. Appealing to those states is tricky and I'm not sure Mandami does.

And even if he did. The US has a massive and growing fiscal problem. You can't go into the next election promising to spend more money. The money isn't there to spend.
 
She's vile and horrid, but if she can split up the MAGA base and keep the heat on Trump with Epstein then she can have a thumbs up from me.
