The staggering thing is GDM, there’s plenty on this side of the pond who suggest he’s the answer as well.Speaking as someone who has always been good at viewing the qualities of those I disagree with politically (Thatcher, Benn, Reagan and even Farage) the issue with Trump is that he has no identifiable redeeming characteristics whatsoever, which informs my incredulity as to how anyone could view him positively.
For me, it’s not about his politics, but rather his manifest unsuitability to hold public office in numerous ways.
I am genuinely baffled, give all he says and does, how any reasoned, rational person cannot see this.
