Cruz isn't a realistic chance , there is every chance moderate republicans in the senate would not even support even if he won the nomination. If he can't beat Trump in South Carolina he has no chance to win the nomination let alone the vote.
 
All the main runners true colours came out in that debate. The jibes got personal.

If trump gets anywhere near the Whitehouse we'll have to revoke their independence.
 
Trump is woman-slapping the serious candidates. His mouth-breather followers will never support somebody who wasn't willing to get into a classless shouting match with an egomaniac.
