Good point, i would suggest it is partly due to this horrid mob fueled terminally offended stuff that seems to be gathering pace.
Most of us have had a cushy life and no real hardship i.e. genuine thread of nuclear war, conventional war etc, poverty.

Some need a slap and most need to go and see the real world. Middle white america (the parts that are not for him anyway) especially, others hate him for directly offending their culture or place of birth (Mexico/Mexicans) and they have a reasonable right to march and protest imo.
Those moaning just because their shiny ideals are slapped in the face need to man up, shrug their shoulders and vote against him.

I think these terminally offended people are the bad byproduct of the twitter culture, not just twitter but you get my drift.
A bit of beasting and having to share your bed with whatever crawls around whatever jungle you are in would do a few the world of good.

Well he is not exactly taking over is he, the fella is going through the democratic system in place.
I don't mind repeating that yeah those directly offended have every right to take a giant turd outside trump tower.

They have the democratic choice to vote against him and if he gets in then the masses have spoken i guess.

Which is why people can speak against him within the confines of the law and if they disagree with him they damn well should. Hitler got to power to a large degree through a democratic process and for decades millions and millions wished they had spoken up more and taken him more seriously.

Now personally I don't think trump is Adolf I don't think he is even half as extreme as he is pretending to be but all the same people who disagree should be doing so with all their might within the law.

Also I don't agree that only people directly offended can be vocal or speak out. That would prevent me finding terrorism offensive, prevent me finding sexism, racism , homophobia or deep poverty offensive .

If only minorities and the oppressed are allowed to be offended or speak out how will humanity ever progress, who will ever act for them. Such an attitude would have meant no vote for women, no ending of slavery etc which surely is not what you mean?

All of those issues were lead by people not impacted , fighting in elections etc against views they found wrong, to support those weaker or with less power than themselves.

The fact that Drumpf is part of the problem and pretty much personifies what they are angry about proves how painfully stupid his followers are. Drumpf's money comes from his inheritance and the fact that he's had the ability to buy politicians. Add in the fact that his father was a racist slumlord and that he's the definition of an elitist and it makes you wonder how the people that want to vote for him ever manage to find their way to the polling place.

How would not waving a placard/shouting a rally somehow stop you from finding something offensive ? i don't follow your reasoning here or i misunderstand.

I think you are making a mistake of assuming speaking out is the same as blocking roads with anti-trump rally's and such. Trying to silence his voice with by crashing his rallies is just poor and makes the people doing it as stupid and dumb as those they claim to be different than.

These demonstrations come across as petty under the circumstances, i would like to think we have learned from Hitler and would not allow it again.
The whole point of the vote is to be your voice in the most absolute way. This is how you silence him. He makes a fine job of looking a fool himself.

There is a distinct difference between votes for women and this election, far to many to mention in full.The situation and circumstances are far to removed to make any sort of comparison.

Trump does a fine job of making himself look an ass, the stuff with the "demonstrations" made his opponents look like dumb thugs to.

I always found bumper stickers popular in America to publicly air your position on certain issues.

There are many for and against trump who find his views every bit as important as people found votes for women. I agree with you blocking roads, breaking the law etc is stupid. But large volume law abiding protest akin to Gandhi style is vital against this man.

The more people show him for what he is and stand against his views and bring his idiotic statement to light the better. I do think we are talking at cross purposes a bit and probably don't disagree on it that much as I am not condoning law breaking or anything that makes him the victim

The man is nuts and i am still at the point of thinking "no way will they vote him in" so probably do not give this a solemn and sober consideration.

Hillary wouldn't be in my top ten of choices to be POTUS but to compare her to Trump is a real stretch. She's served as a US Senator and as Sec. of State and handled herself adequately as both. Trump was born rich, remained rich, made himself famous by acting like an asshole and has taken to spouting racist propaganda.
