On a serious note mate, as i was only joking, the goal should have stood, ridiculous decision from the ref. I saw at least three Slovenia players pulling Americans down so if he is going to blow the whistle, it should have been for a penalty imo.

That said, if i was a USA fan, i would be more worried about the soft goals conceeded, rather than the ref because until you tighten up at the back, your never going to do anything.

Best of luck in the tournament mate as i still think we will both qualify from the group.

In general we tend to tear into our players rather than blame the rest of the world.

PMSL.. you mean the one ref? or the rest of the world?? because it seems to me that the only person being blamed is the ref..

besides the ref taking away a perfectly good goal..

there are about 11 other people that could be blamed for the first 45 minutes of pure SHIT... most of them were wearing blue..

other than them.. i personally blame the ref for a horrible call..

oh yeah.. also, i blame the rest of the world as well... because that's what americans do, right? ???

I feel like Sudan has a lot to do with this result, as well as Equador..

And those damn Mexicans.

Best of luck in the tournament mate as i still think we will both qualify from the group.

As i stated in an earlier post..

if England win, we will be in 3rd place in the group going into the last day, needing a specific result from the England Slovenia match (as well as a win in our last group match) in order to progress..

it's never a good place to be in needing someone else to get a result in order to progress..

4 points instead of 2 would ahve made a world of difference.. we would be in great position to actually go into our last game with a good chance of winning the group..

Slovenia are no bunch of slouches.. don't forget the match at wembly, england won 2-1, but it wasn't easy at all.. they also knocked out the russians..

You got out-played son. I had a good chuckle at all the yanks saying the USA were the favourites, I knew Slovenia would take you guys to town and if they'd kept their composure better in that second half you would have been put to the sword.

The USA team is almost completely bereft of quality.
