Although you americans had a perfectly good goal disallowed you still came out with a point which on the balance of play was a fair result.

Now imagine you were German thay had the game taken from them due to diabollical refereing decisions.

Mate hands up we were shit in the first half and you'll find no one who disagrees. The disallowed goal was was a pisstake. But no matter how little you think of Americans, nobody would ever seriously advocate the use of a nuke because of a poor mistake by an official. It's the usual hyperbole but for some reason who it comes from an American it becomes the biggest ignorant comment ever because all Americans just want to declare war on anything that moves right? Like I said earlier, good luck to the English and you should be hoping that you don't have a poor referee cost you points because the first two matches today have seen that happen.

I, unfortunately, had graduation rehearsal during the full duration of the match and was only informed of updates by people who were following the ESPN GameCast on their cell phones. All of the sudden, right in the middle of the principal shouting out directions, a random kid stands up and yells out "IT'S 2-2". Everybody started yelling and going crazy. It was a pretty nice moment.

I nearly got fired today when the third went in!! i threw my headset that I was using to lisen to the stream.. and yelled "GET THE F*** IN!!!! WOOOO" ...
then i realized that i was the only one who was standing up... and then i realized that it was called back.. and i said a few nasty words..

note to self.. don't ever do that again lol
