Usual Sunday crap...ycnmiu.

And don't get started on Hans Segers and that notorious Wimbledon game which kept them up. Everyone involved in professional football at that time has heard what went on that day
I remember that well. And if anybody else remembers is as I do they will agree that that game was fixed.

At the end of this, we can all sit back and smile at a wonderful season.

that will be worth waiting for. :)
Whether we finish fourth or not, this is still the best season that the club has ever witnessed since the Premier League began. The only place we fell too short of our target was in the FA Cup. We pushed United all the way to the semi, and as we head into April we're still in the running for the Champions League.

If some at least 2 of those 7 drawn games under Hughes had been wins, then we'd probably have fourth spot almost secured. Sprus are the favourite by a long shot, with City and Villa slightly behind. But not only are we pushing for fourth, but we are likely to finish above Liverpool this season, which depsite Liverpool's recent form, is something to be immsenly proud of.

Eh? There's only 92 clubs in the league. I don't remember us playing in the bottom division. The lowest I can remember us being is 12th (?) after the York away game during that nightmare season. We're 5th at the moment, so that equals 15 Premiership places plus 24 Championship places plus 12 League 1 places. By my dodgy maths, I make that 51 places higher than we were at our lowest ebb.

Steven Hawking better watch out..;)[/quote

Go easy on yhe maths lads - they keep changing the names of the divisions, and I bailed out to support Arsenal/rags for a couple of seasons while things were bad.

Its a fair point suspensions and injuries hit the club hard and affect results.

So what have we had this season, very few injuries and kind referees so no suspensions.

These journalists are really clueless and still make a living writing lies, we all know they are full of shit.

We will have our day and they will change to keep their jobs writing about the new champions.

Read the article, would agree with pretty much most of it.

Don't like moyes but have to admit that he's a decent manager.

We have a modern stadium, everton don't.

We have financial backing, everton don't.

I know which team is in the best position to progress now and in the foreseeable future.

I can't understand people getting their knickers in a twist over things like this, if he slags City off then that's a different matter ....;)

Quite of number of Everton fans have said to me in the past that if Moyes is ever presented with the opportunity to spend the sort of money we have he wouldn't know what to do.

He's a manager who likes to work the way he does and he likes to manage a certain type of player one he is more comfortable with.

It was once said his dream job is Celtic.

Paul Wilson is one of the bitterest, anti-City "journalists" around (and has been for years). Oh, and he supports Everton.

Always had im down as a BinDipper! But there isn't one single EPL team, board of directors, fans, local rag et al, who would not have hanged, drawn and quartered their grannies for the Sheikh's money and the ADUG takeover. They haven't got it, we have, and every reverse they suffer, be it EFC, MANUre, BinDippers, Spuds, the cry is always, if only we had MCFC's riches, and when we are on the reverse of a scoreline, the notion is always that we have wasted another twenty, thirty, a hundred million pounds. I am more than happy with my lot!

-- Sun Mar 28, 2010 3:10 pm --

Remember Barry Davies commenting "He's made a meal of that!' after Hans lay down on the job and allowed the ball to roll in, over, and round his spectacular dive.

the cheating twunt realised he was going to save it and physically took his hand away from the shot. Should have been banned, along with the rest of the Wimbledon team.
