not getting into this in too much detail, but does a 7 year old deserve a ticket more than people whove done most, or all of the aways for the last few months but have just missed out on points?

this is probably going to provoke a debate so i'll leave it at this and say fair play blue, and hope your kid enjoys the day out

we were all 7 year olds once eager to see our team play, we did'nt care about how dad paid for the tickets, where they came from or who did or did'nt attend, we were smitten with city and all became life long blues.

its the circle of life:)

I'm a 27 year old kid... got a spare? ;) pmsl :D

Well if my lad behaves like a brat and gets banned from going by him mum i'll put you on the 'yes' list........obviously a few others are already on the 'no' list.

But to be fair I suspect I will get an angel child for the next few weeks. :D

A bit of perspective?
I'm a season card holder but don't have enough points for the derby . . however, this will be the first away derby I've missed in years because I've always been able to blag a ticket by one means or another - got let down this year because the promise wasn't met due to a friend being ill and not being able to sort out the usual.

It was a risk I took and it's my fault because I could've bought a hospitality place for £200+VAT if I'd have wanted . . . as could all the other sorry sods who missed out and that includes the very vocal 'super fans'.
Fact is that if it was life & death to anyone out there then they'd have got a ticket by forking out for it even if it meant flogging a kidney.
Me? Well I think of myself as a true blue but I just couldn't justify paying out two ton for a ticket because that's nearly a third of the cost of my season ticket. . . but I'm not saying that I couldn't get a ticket because I could have and it was my value judgement that prevented me from doing so . . .

was a genuine question Jason, fair play to you for getting him one, can't help wondering tho.....

Enjoy the day.

It was a genuine answer. I've got a friend who cannot go so I bought his ticket. Obvious he knew he couldn't go so we made sure we bought our two together etc...

what are you wondering?

-- Tue Oct 11, 2011 8:40 pm --

....and if you are a corporate member with a box or season tickets in any of the suites I do believe you are guaranteed a certain number of tickets too!

....I'm not though before you ask just got lucky for a second ticket.

Family Stand curse strikes again. ;-)

BTW.

The lad who always get's a ticket and told me he had one sorted last week, even though he only has 1500 loyalty points, hasn't got one.

Apparently the branch he's in only got 30 tickets this time, so he's missed out.

Me and my 13 year old son, and he's got over 7000 points before anyone asks;)

Gonna be loads of kids - my 9 year old is also going with me as he does for almost every away day.

because you were being elusive when asked a straight question by a poster

so, to quote, 'get over yourself'

Isn't it rather obvious that a seven year old who's had a season ticket for three years won't have enough points.

Rather than being elusive why not say when asked "Got a ticket from other sources etc" know will knock you for that. I got one that way. However you leave yourself wide open with your "Get over yourself" quote
