My guess, but to be honest i have no idea what team will be put out, could easily replace 5 or 6 in that line up dependant upon how serious Pep takes this.

Just realised im a player short so i thin it's unlikely Pep will line up like this :)

You are Stuart Pearce; where do I claim my £20?

To all those saying it's an unimportant game I'd pose two questions:-

1 When exactly did the League Cup cease to be viewed as a major competition by the media?

Answer: when the GPC unilaterally decided it wasn't one, in part to put "the noisy neighbours" in their place, since it was the last ****ing thing we had won.

2 When exactly did Manchester derbies cease to matter to the media?

Answer: when the GPC unilaterally decided "the noisy neighbours" needed to be seen as small fry and so he replaced us with Liverpool.

Times may have changed but never, ever forget how we were seen and treated and to some extent how we still are. Never, ever forget Blues. It's a Manchester derby and yes, the League Cup matters, it's still a major competition.

All of that may well be true but teams just don't treat it as such anymore! Even Div 1 sides put weakened teams out. Liverpool and Spurs have made 21 changes between them tonight. I expect at least 6/7 for us tomorrow and 5/6 for them minimum.

Seems Pep not fussed about the game tomorrow. Caballero to play in goal, De Bruyne injured and not chanced, will play some kids too. We're giving Utd have a chance here.

I realise the team may be tired but I think you need to play your best team having not won in 5 and against local rivals. Seems he disagrees with me...

ah ok

time for one of the kids then (maffeo)

if Pep rotates (as he has said he will do) I suspect that we will see Navas, Fernando and possibly Kolorov on.....last time those 3 played we got bummed by spurs and though did are no where near as good as spurs if we go with our fringe players like those 3 mentioned and maybe a kid or two we will probably get beat......not pleasant at any time getting beaten by that lot but I wouldn't be too disappointed to be out of this cup....Priority is always the league for me

Kolorov played Sunday so don't think he will play.

I expect something like this

Caballerro
Maffeo
Clichy
Tosin
Ottamendi
Fernando
Navas
Nolito
Fernandinho
Sterling
Kelechi

He isn't playing kids,he says they need a good atmosphere to play and not when we are on a bad run and we have other options
