Seems Pep not fussed about the game tomorrow. Caballero to play in goal, De Bruyne injured and not chanced, will play some kids too. We're giving Utd have a chance here.

I realise the team may be tired but I think you need to play your best team having not won in 5 and against local rivals. Seems he disagrees with me...

If we do play a weakened team, I'll care less about the result. Obviously I want to beat them every single time possible, but I can see why pep wants to change it.

Kolorov played Sunday so don't think he will play.

I expect something like this

Caballerro
Maffeo
Clichy
Tosin
Ottamendi
Fernando
Navas
Nolito
Fernandinho
Sterling
Kelechi
If this side turns out i'll have wasted £38 to stand in the cold watching a cricket score go passed us to a full strength Utd side.

Id be surprised if he put two young lads into the back 4. Ive just seen his press conference and he clearly says he wants to put the younger players into games where its a more positive experience........he said this when answering questions about maffeo and A.Garcia playing in the previous round. I think he will rotate and bring navas and fernando in for sure.....which doesn't fill me full of hope to be honest.....

Just in case anyone on here was thinking of taking any, hear there'll be sniffer dogs at the city turnstiles tomorrow looking for smokebombs/flares.

Does anybody know if they are selling beer inside old Trafford tomoz? And also does anybody know where a lot of city fans will gather for a pint before hand? Nice one

Indeed, for those that haven't seen it he says this
Pep: We didn’t win in five - young players need to play in a good environment. You have to protect them. We have other options.

In Devon at the moment. Do you reckon I'll find a pub with the match on that won't be full of rags?
No, I was in Exeter last week for the Barca game, with them cheering the Barca goals, they'll be out in force.

For those who are digging out blues on this thread for not caring much for the tie, let me give you my stance and why.

Firstly I'll be on night shift tomorrow, but I'll still be listening, and I'll still want us to batter them obviously, but my reason for not having as much interest in it as I would normally, is the complete corruption of the whole thing. The draw was a fix the second we both got through, a second early chance for the 'special one' to put Pep down, because the world had been cruelly denied it 10 days earlier, what they hadn't expected was both teams poor form that has followed.

I'm not normally one for conspiracy theories, but on this one I am, and I strongly suspect that we'll have to be better than very good to come away with any result, because almost everything that can be done, will be done, to see us beaten, no matter the team we pick, or how they play. That for me isn't football, and its why I'm not especially interested in it, I suspect the hacks already have their headlines for Thursday written. If I was ever interested in attending an ot derby (I'm not, its a shthole), I wouldn't haven't wasted my £38 on this, another money making exercise by a disgusting club.
