Utd v City post match

One early in first half on around the half way line he went on someone and from where I was took the ball cleanly. Rags all surrounded Oliver who just gave a free kick. Anyway got a clip from injury time when Kdb, Raheem and Silva kept winning throw ins

He did win the ball with his leading leg but he took AH out with the other. Wouldn't have been a foul once upon a time and I'm not sure it should have been this time. It certainly wasn't a card offence.

He definitely got the ball. Slo-mo replay confirmed it.
Vinnie is a tough competitor, he is not a dirty player as is being hinted at.
Blue through and through, a great leader on the pitch and a fantastic character.
Any challenge he makes is to win the ball and nothing else.
Sadly his days appear to be close to the end, but Vinnie, thanks for everything you have done for City, you are going to be very difficult to replace.
Legend.

There was much hand wringing on here when our last few opponents did this time wasting.

This was genuinely funny. Young was made look an even bigger twat

I might sound biased here but I think there's a big difference between seeing out the clock by keeping the ball near the corner when ahead in the 89th minute and wasting time on every goal kick and throw in from the start of the game at 0 - 0.

I am not the one who said that the rags were below par.

No, I did, and I stand by that. They wouldn't be 2nd if they were as bad as that all the time. They were shockingly awful. They've gone 40 games unbeaten at home, but half the teams in the league would beat them playing like they did yesterday.

Edy started doing it pretty soon after we went ahead.

I'm not condoning it. I see it as a viable tactic to win when it suits. Practicality.

Just pointing out some possible hypocrisy

Half the teams wouldn't beat them.
We were better, we schooled them, we controlled them, we even took the piss.
Take another look at the match.
