I thought Pep nailed that tactically in the first half.

Maureen bought his own press after the Arsenal win and conceded possession, but putting Raheem where he was gave the freedom of the pitch to both Kevin and Spanish Dave. We were actually pretty wasteful once we got into their box, normally we are much more clinical with that sort of space and should have been 2 up before we eventually took the lead.

2nd half they resorted to their regular long ball and I though we defended that well despite being poor with the football for periods of it.

We went to play, and as far as they are concerned they can be thankful it was only 2, I don't think we left 2nd gear and that missing Stones/Mendy and Aguero on the bench.

The difference is night and day.
