Anyone tempted by Brentford v Colchester (1500hrs) then a mad dash to City at WHU (1730)? It may be pushing it too much!

Where can you get these T Shirts now? Gave mine to an Austrian mate a few years ago when I visited him.

Uwe is a star to me. Went to watch him train at Platt Lane and spoke to him in the car park. I mentioned to him that myself and my son had been at the game when he had his trial with City and that my sons 18th birthday was approaching. He noted our names and address and low and behold sent my son a birthday card, something he cherished until it was lost during a house move. Uwe is a top top man.

I was at that game,think it was Burnley Reserves,5 - 0 & Uwe scored a hat trick I think.

I got this book and can't put it down. I had the grey tee too! I remember going to the Isle of Man for a pre season friendly and we were singing the uwe rosler song everywhere we went.6000 blues in the port of Douglas and the only form of communication was "uwe, uwe rosler, uwe, uwe rosler, uwe uwe rosler" absolute quality. Red and black away shirt was everywhere. On the last game of the tournament city fans went on the pitch and was holding uwe up high and chanting his name. Someone had a inflatable life size blow up doll and he promptly bent it over and pretended to give it one! Then he signed it for the person who owned it. The players mixed with the fans at the night in a club and were totally down to earth. That was about 20 years ago ish and I remember it like yesterday. It was a true away trip. Shame they don't do em like that anymore.
Uwe rosler- u are a star.

Uwe was a great player and I maintain that Horton's 94-95 forward line (Beagrie, Rosler, Walsh and Summerbee) was the best we had up to the period since the takeover, and will always say that the sacking of Horton was Francis Lee's worst decision as Chairman bar non (appointing Ball his successor coming a very tight second!).

got the book for christmas from the children. finished reading it now and if i'm honest, a bit disappointed. i love uwe but his story is so unique that i felt his book barely scratched the surface of what has been a fascinating life so far.

better than stuart brennans book on mancini, nowhere near as good as lakey's.
