Uwe Rosler video

I always thought it was so strange that after 40 years of watching City the one player that I felt that most played the game like he was a supporter of the club was an East German, but in a way I like that and it says something about how for all the walls we might put up, there are things that transcend so much.

I remember him turning up at a Bredbury Supporters club meeting. Came across very well until I asked him was his ‘type’ of striker a dying breed as the only similar type of player in the Prem I could think of at that time was Dirk Kuyt. I got a similar reaction from the audience, at the meeting, as I do to a lot of my posts on the media thread.

Remember getting in to a deep conversation with Mike Sumberbee about Uwe Rosler.

He couldn't believe Uwe played in plastic Boots :-)

Back them times were changing.

If you are reading this Mike.............they all do these days :-)
