Is this like a "just seen Messi at Ancoats Aldi" type thing? ;-)

In all seriousness, i can't think why Sorriano would meet up with Rosler unless it was talking business. I know he didnt do great at Wigan, but i can't see him taking an assistants / eds type job, i think it'd be a step back managerially.

So first season in charge of a team and taking them to FA Cup Semi final - after knocking out Manchester City in quarter final - only to be knocked out by Arsenal (who went on to win it) on penalties after a 1-1 draw *breathes* and narrowly being knocked out of the play-offs to QPR (who went on to be promoted) isn't a pretty good performance from a manger? I'd say that is someone City should be atleast talking to for consideration of a role at the club.

P.S. He did all that with a dickhead chairman.

I wasn't saying i didn't want him at City, his managerial record at other clubs shows he's got loads of potential and would be an asset to us. What i meant was that, i'm surprised he hasn't got or at least is looking for a first team managers job elsewhere and a assistant manager/eds job could be seen as a step down after being a club manager.

Uwe loves City though and this would a big step in him landing our top job eventually foot in the door so to speak

So bringing all the bits together..Pellers gone after wet spam if we lose, paddy v in til end of season, klopp in , with paddy as assistant, with uwe in at EDS..sounds interesting

I doubt there being anything in this. If there was, it wouldn't be discussed at Costa, let alone a Manchester branch. Nevertheless, Klopp with Paddy as his number two holds a lot of appeal for reasons already discussed in this thread. Where Uwe fits in is another matter but I couldn't see him as an EDS coach. It would have to be a job for someone with a pedigree at this level and I would expect Klopp to want his own man in there. Maybe Uwe could be employed as a first team coach rather than as a number two. Brian Kidd has managed to stay in his job for years based on his local knowledge, but time moves on and as an OAP, it's time for him to step aside. IMHO of course

Klopp manager Uwe assistant , could be the dream team , and they certainly wouldnt let players stroll about pretending to give a f*ck

That would be a very good dream team.

I would be happy for either Vieira or Uwe as first team coach next season and either as EDS manager.

??????what about Klopp going to munich much like most of there players ????? and we could have pep guardiola in the summer

He has 10 years of managerial experience, did a fantastic job at Brentford and a good job at Wigan as well (before it all went a bit sour). I would love him here in some capacity but I can't see him taking anything but the Manager's job as it would be a step backwards in his career.
