I'd like to know where you have heard this as yesterday it was confirmed that both Chelsea and Tottenham will from the next week require proof of vaccination or negative lat flow to enter their ground and that they will follow whatever the government mandates.

Once the pandemic dies down, they will be removed.

I really don’t. We’ve got here in spite of him.

If the vaccines continue to work, life will get back to normal sometime next year. Until then, we need as many vacced up and hope no variant beats them.

Yeah, just had a look myself at a few articles. Being interesting to see what happens in the near future. Spurs and Chelsea are trialling it in the event the gov advice changes, but as it stands it does not seem mandatory.

71% of adults have had both jabs. 88% have had one dose.

Therefore it’s 29% affected, which will decrease to around 12% in the next few weeks before the season starts.

It also gives that 12% the chance to have the vaccine.

Since the season starts a week on Saturday, the best of luck with that one. Who is going to be there to turn away the 29% at the turnstiles? What about the non-adults? Do they get a free pass? This whole idea is so much bollox that I can’t believe we are wasting bandwidth even discussing it.

My suspicion is that no checks will be made at all. The thought of Showsec staff checking certification at the stadium and the chaos it would cause gives me amusement.

You’re probably right, but if it becomes mandatory, it will have to come in.

3 weeks until our first home game. The percentage of double jabbed will have gone up a fair amount.

I‘d be surprised if people had to be checked at the ground for being double jabbed. The club would ask for your proof in advance. If they don’t get it, they could deactivate your ticket.

I’m not sure how LFT result checking would work.

Under 18s are exempt from the trial at Chelsea and Spurs. They don’t have access to the vaccines unless clinically vulnerable. I guess that would be the same if City implemented it.

Wouldn’t bother explaining what you mean mate, these people are so indoctrinated they don’t care about reason. Only today Gavin Williamson announced that students are going to be denied education on vaccine status. Being anti vaccine passport is not anti-vax, I have had both mine (Pfizer) although something sinister seems afoot. Compulsory vaccination for smallpox in the 19th century different kettle of fish to covid which is not fatal to the vast majority. Walking into a dictatorship.
