Super Deporte saying obligation (not option) to sign him for £24m next summer... so conflicting stories but seems veeeery close now.

I've asked this before and someone may have responded which I missed, but what is the difference between a loan with a n obligation to buy and a normal transfer. Few clubs pay for player up front so if a player's registration is exchanged and payment structured over a period of time I don't see the difference between a loan with obligation to buy and a transfer with structured payments.

Maybe to do with which accounting year the fee is counted in?
