according to toffeesforme Valencia are looking at saviola and palacio as replacements. albiol is still mulling over citys contract and should be a couple of days yet

I watched it & can't remember anything of note to replace him. They put a really young lad on in his place, who normally plays for their 'B' team...infact it was his debut - strange decision but the game wasn't really going anywhere & was proper stale.
