You know this?The left-back interest is a smoke screen. He's being lined up as either Foden's replacement at left-wing or Bernardo's long term successor.
He will be signed by the end of the January transfer window but may stay in Argentina until the summer.

Would be him or Barco imo, not both. Either way it’s interesting that we’re suddenly, actively linked with a few young, left wing backs. Bit of a clue to future tactical strategy options perhaps?strong links with him and Maatsen would be interesting to see how that affects Gomez
