special talent this kid. best player on the pitch while he was on, looked better as a left winger/midfielder than as a left back, he's too good to play so far back, super smart kid with great feel for the game.

Hes like the anti endrick or whats his name, whos a with great physical tools but that doesnt understand the game well, very raw. Barco looks like a vet out there, knows when to go forward or slow the tempo, great technique but is small and skinny

not long ago, he would be slaughtered on here for being a "fancy fkin Dan", with a dollop of "doesn't track back", "wouldn't last 5 minutes in the prem" with a chorus of " wet night in Stoke"...Pretty sure he will have been extensively researched/evaluated by City's extensive network of scouting recruiting operations. Back in the day, skills on the pitch trumped everything, there is so much more to be considered to satisfy City's requirements nowadays. Judging by our success over the Pep years, i would say it works...
