i do chat but very minimal just enough to get what i want... and most of the time what they say is useless like where are they from, what do they do ect... And if you do get Facebook, instigram you will know what i mean =0.

ill give you an example.. Im currently being outsourced to this agency im sitting in a cubical and there are 4 women around me the only thing they talk about every fking day for the past 2 months has been, What shoes are you going to buy, When are you going to get your hair done, when are we going to go shopping together, He said this she said that, unfunny as fuk jokes, what are we going to eat, who wants chocolate, ye lets have dinner sometime. This combination has been going on for the past 2 months everyday. So yes They have nothing else to talk about worth my time or effort i get what i want from them and just disregard everything else they apparently have to offer. no hate just daily observations. So when you said it's the norm. maybe your very luck then cuz its not the norm for me :)

Think Ive said before on another thread you do mix with some strange women!! I know its not your fault having to spend time with the women you have described because its work but I can assure you we are not all the same! Yesterday in our office we discussed football for quite a while, then the Scottish Independence referendum before moving onto the state of the housing market in the UK. We did discuss diets beut believe it or not this conversation was instigated by a bloke. I work with people of all ages, men and women and the conversation is very rarely if ever about handbags and gladrags!
