A completely pointless day which benefits no one except card, chocolate and flower sellers.
I used to, in the distant past, run a wholesale flower business and we jacked the price of red roses up by 500% one year for a bet. We sold out. As we always did. Madness.
If you are in a relationship and are that emotionally stunted that you can't tell your other half that you love them, or occasionally surprise them with a small gift as a token of said love without the help of a special day then you shouldn't be in a fucking relationship.
Women should be ashamed of themselves for going along with this sham of a day. I have never sent a valentines card nor never will.

It's mine and my other halves first valentines since we've been together just short of a year, so I'm doing it this year but there's no way I'm sticking to it, she's expensive enough!
I think from then on valentines will just be an excuse to get a bit pissed, have a steak and make the beast with two backs, hopefully...
And there's always steak and blow job day on march 14th that we can cram down their throat! ;)
