I feel like I could write extensively on this after the day's events.
But regardless of whether it was or was not right to sack Mark Hughes, the owners and everyone else involved in the decision making process should understand that the way it was done is totally at odds with the values of a family/community orientated football club.
I was at the game but could not appreciate the sadness that was so evident in his face when you see the MotD footage.
The results have not been good enough. The players do not seem to have been playing for him in recent games. But, but - there is a way of dealing with it and then there is this.
You do not treat a consumate professional and dignified man in this way.
I'm not proud to be a City fan tonite. And I'd like to know who within the club structure is responsible for leaving me with this shitty feeling.
Because it is they that should be shown the door.
