Van der Sar's Wife Seriously ill

Years and years ago, one of my colleagues literally dropped dead at the age of 26 with a brain
hemmorage(sp). Awful.

I've been in Amsterdam for the holidays with family - my brother-in-law is a physio there and has been treating Edwin while he's been injured. He was due to treat him on Boxing Day while I was there but obviously this took precedence. Apparently things are looking better, she is 'stable' and doctors hope she will recover fully and I've taken the liberty of wishing them well on behalf all City fans.

My late grandad had a stroke a few months before I was born, he was left permanently paralysed down his left side and unable to speak properly, so all the best to Van der Sar and his wife, hope it doesn't turn out so serious in the long term.
