Sadly, he can't possibly be any worse than Moyes. Still, he has a big re-building job to do over there and he should get a decent amount of cash to do it.

A proven manager with a track record of winning major trophies so I'd expect United to show a bit more patience this time round if he doesn't get off to a flyer. The question is, just how patient will they be? if they finish outside the top 4 again will they stick or twist?
 
When the players split into the pro & anti Van Gaal camps, which side will Ryan "Whiter than White" Giggs align himself with?

I can foresee unrest behind the scenes on a par with the Mancini reign at City.

They have a bunch of below average players as we will find out at the World Cup and a major overhaul will not guarantee immediate results.

Look forward to how they cope after the honeymoon period is over.
 
I have managed in games at Old Trafford before and know what an incredible arena Old Trafford is and how passionate and knowledgeable the fans are

He's been re-programmed fairly quickly.
 
We can only beat whats in front of us. Still more worried about Chelsea with a striker, will be a very interesting season.

Anyway as of now, i hate that flat faced dutch ****!

In place of who?

Us, Chelsea and Arsenal are a given(I'd say) and if L'pool strengthen and Spurs get a proper manager they will be I a better position than Utd

Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, Anderson, Nani have all left/likely to leave so will need replacing. Then there is the likes of Smalling, Jones, Fletcher who aren't good enough to challenge. Id say they need at least 6 top players to get near the top four and that's if all the new signings come off and the current players take to Van Gaal
