Yes the players did fix it because they are jealous of man city, how did Kyle walker have a better season than Aguero ? Maybe I missed something or maybe I should just grow up and admit we should sell Aguero and buy Kyle walker the better player at all costs
Fucking lol at that and you!
If van Persie played for us and got the same goals, he could well have lost out to someone like Ba or Cisse fr example - players doing a van Persie in an average team. It was always unlikely a player in a team of superstars would win it. A player in an average team notching van persie's tally will always get more votes. That's just the way it is, no conspiracy or jealousy towards City. It's just the way it is - common sense.

Re: Van persie

I'm sure I saw a stat the other day that Aguero goals per minute is far and away more impressive than RVP (second only to Cisse at Newcastle)... That said RVP deserves the award.

As for Walker what a a joke - he's not even the best young right back in the country - that award goes to Micah

Can't disagree with Van Persie. Without him Arsenal are mid table at best. But yeah, Walker is the laughable one.

we'll see next season

Re: Van persie

A well deserved award. Been consistently the best player and scored some cracking goals.

Re: Van persie

The fact Vinnie wasn't one of the nominees is the real crime.

RVP as the winner, I think is a "deceeeent" choice.

But Kyle fookin Walker over Sergio as young player????

I don't understand that one bit. Walker is quite a good right back....... Sergio Aguero is a phenomenal player

Well what about kyle walker beating Aguero for young player got to laugh , knew a city player would not win it. Fixed as Fuck

Ah so the Players "fixed" it did they.
Grow up.

Not saying its fixed. Not at all, but isnt the idea of a fix that the actual vote is ignored and a false winner put in place.
Theoretically, every single player could have voted sergio and the FA changed the winning name secretly. As the vote is confidential no one would know!
Fat harry must have made it 1st stipulation in his new england contract so he can have a part in winning something this season, to give him at least SOME credence to be the next national boss.
No fix though, just pointing out how the fix might work. Ha.
Just saying.

Re: Van persie

But, if the players are jealous of Man City, why did they nominate 3 Blues out of 6 finalists for player of the year? Doesn't make sense.

However, fully agree with all that Aguero was the hands-down choice over Walker. Just don't get that one.

Fair play I am pissed, been on it all day, but the walker one does stink of corruption and jealousy, if any can give a valid reason why he deserved that then fair play

Re: Van persie

Just find it utterly bizarre how Walker won it ahead of Aguero - who the fooking hell made that decision!

Re: Van persie

To be fair Van Persie has had a great season when you consider that Arsenal have had their rough patches ...

but it's gonna look a bit ridiculous that a City or United player hasn't got it when one of those clubs is gonna win the title ..... Rooney , it has to be said , has also had a really good season and has banged in the goals.

The Kyle Walker award is ridiculous , and probably took him with as much surprise as it did anyone else!
