Do you think it will make up for the debacle of that season. Presenting City with the trophy when Liverpool clearly won it

To be fair to Liverpool, they've acknowledged our part in an exciting title race and allowed us to play Arsenal in the Community Shield as a gesture of goodwill.

I for one will be lighting a candle at Wembley in recognition of that selfless act. Probably just after the minutes silence

Why do they spray it in a straight line if it's supposed to be 10yds away from the ball?

The easy way out, I suppose. You go out into your back garden with your can of shaving foam and try drawing an arc that stays 10 yards (subject to small fluctuations) away form your starting point, where the ball would be placed. I wouldn't even try as it would look like a dog's dinner when I'd finished.

Over the width of an 8 man wall you are only talking about the horizontal distance ftom your shin to your toes from the centre of the wall to the edge.

Fuck me they have actually done something for the betterment of the game. Once that line is drawn no encroaching. Just hope pitches are marked out with horizontal stripes in the grass at 6 or 5 yard intervals to help as well.
