I'll be honest, I think our game was refereed perfectly today and that's how every game should be. I don't think that should be a handball, and I don't think Sterling's should be a penalty and I think Mike Dean was right most of the time to let play go on. And if every game was refereed like that, it would be great. But we all know that certain teams would have got all of those decisions. And that's where the problem is.
The trouble is there are no rules anymore, each game is refereed differently..
Dier was adjudged to have handled the ball last week even though he had his back turned..
Leeds defender today, exactly the same..
If one is a penalty then the other must be too, surely..?
The dippers and rags would have definitely been awarded a penalty, most probably been given both of them..
The diabolical challenge on Bernardo was a straight red..
VAR should have intervened in that instance and informed the ref to check the pitchside monitor..
How good would that be, VAR protecting the players and sending the thugs off..
It's not fkin hard..!!
Why are games and incidents judged on who's involved and not by the laws of the game..?
The only conclusion you can come to, the one which jumps right out at you is that
IT'S FUCKING BENT..!
What else can it be..?
