The football authorities like controversy. It gets coverage for their game. Sepp Blatter even said as much as a reason for not bringing in VAR in the first place.

Let's be honest, it could easily be done properly, but they have no interest in that.

On answering your question, yeah absolutely. Football fans who attended games are sick of VAR in the majority I'd say. If we keep on paying to attend and not showing our collective frustration as supporters then it's time to show our feelings or stop attending. Covid has stopped fans going for now but unless football becomes more enjoyable and affordable, then plenty won't go back to games to complain. I'm not too arsed going back right now. It's much easier watching on TV. At least I get to know what controversial VAR decisions are about, unlike being at a game without a clue as to what has gone on half of the bent decisions they come up with.
