Here are the options:

1) our var got it wrong on the interpretation and the Newcastle var got it right.

2) ours got it right for us and Wolves and the Newcastle var got it wrong.

3) they’re making it up as they go along based on which prick makes whatever decisions

4) they’ve taken the two points off us that they wanted.

I still can’t believe it’s 4. Yet. There’s been lots of fuck ups for various teams this season. Enough to make me suspect that they’re generally useless rather than out to get us. Having said that, if the Villa incident had happened to us in a vital moment/game, I’d never watch another game again.

This VAR gets more farcical week by week. If they dont wish to overrule the man on the pitch (despite the fact that is exactly what they did for our overruled goal) then why don't refs where there is a critical decision they have made (as at villa) can the ref not call for a VAR check and then check the screens - if he then does f*ck up we know they are simply incompetent

What I cant understand is why the FA have decided to make up their own VAR rules (handball/clear and obvious and not interfering/overruling the referee) no wonder its a shambles , the sooner its universal (how Europe use it) the better

It’s confirmed that we have the worst officials. We’ve also been lied to about the offsides being 100 percent accurate. I half celebrated our goals yesterday and had a smile of satisfaction when the game restarted

Maybe. I still think the biggest talking point should be the Newcastle goal. Exactly thane same as the goals disallowed for City and Wolves. Have they starting using the real wording of the law (in which case all 3 should have stood)?

It’s the wall of silence from all concerned that’s worrying. That and not ONE decision overturned.

Oh the silence has now been broken, apparently it was human error on the part of the VAR team who simply missed the handball in the Newcastle game. FFS, were they on the same coffee break that Pep mentioned ? you have one job, look at a TV screen, if you cant do that get a proper job. It is simply being made up as they go along and is now a joke.

Didnt take long to get a completely contrary decision to ours against Spurs which is now why I think the whole thing is bent. They see what they want to see. Its their job to analyse the play when a goal is scored and apply their shitty handball rule change equitably. It wasn't hard to miss so I don't accept their shite excuse. Those two points may cost us the League and those fuckers should be made answerable. It wants binning. The whole thing is not fit for purpose.
