If something is "clear and obvious" their criteria then, how does it take to determineThe ref blew up for a foul, what was VAR supposed to do ?
What happened to the refs telling the crowd the VAR decision?
Strange comment. Surely knowing what is going on is part of the game? Some leagues have introduced it. America has I think.
From the little I saw of it when it was being trialled at the ladies World Cup, it doesn’t offer much, if anything really though.
It was only ever intended for VAR overturns and it’s usually pretty clear what’s happened by the time he’s gone to the screen and then made the TV screen in the air.
The Wolves game last week would probably have been pretty much the only time I can think of where it would have been helpful, as no fucker seemed to have a clue what was going on there.

I was at a talk by Andy Madley last week. He said that 1 of the reasons pgmol doesn't want refs explaining var decisions is that 1 of the current refs has a speech impediment. I then pointed out that during my time on the Northern league said referee had no such impediment. Madley didn't know what to sayWhat happened to the refs telling the crowd the VAR decision?

I have done numerous games with this ref and he never had a speech impediment whatsoever....
Surely that would impair his communication on the pitch regardless? Some players would be carded for taking the piss.
