I predicted this on here about a decade ago.the usa influence in marketing the game was already in full swing . Grounds became stadiums ,kick offs at all times to sort global audience,loss of identity ,rising prices.and matches lasting all day/ night to keep customers ,sorry fans,in the ground longer for advertising and hot dogs ..rampant commercialization.sell sell sell.We were fucked over before Var and we are fucked over with Var.

The technology will force it to happen. The PL is just giving its product away to a third party. Most people only want to watch the team they support. They don’t want a diet of LFC and MUFC propaganda. The licence fee can’t survive either. Tyson fury can earn £50m from one fight. The clubs will not tolerate being ripped off. The PL will have its own channel and eventually the clubs will have their own channels.I doubt it will happen.
Sky must have something hanging over MPs to keep the PL rights in the UK otherwise someone else would have taken most of their packages by now.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a keeper pull a forward back with an obvious open goal whilst in control of the ball get penalised for the foul and not sent off before.Annoyingly quick to dismiss the 'potential' red card today. I don't think Trafford would have been shown the same leniency at the other end.
