To be fair, he is an expert on the subject of City being robbed.Clattenburg was on NBC-SN after the game basically saying City were robbed. The irony.

Yes, even if we assume the refereeing errors are random (which as a City fan seems generous, perhaps), they'll be distributed in a bell curve over the season, so although a lot of teams will be about even, some teams will get a huge benefit and some will get totally screwed. It only evens out in the sense that the same number of teams are on each end of the distribution. There would still be such a distribution with VAR, but the level of benefit or screwing would be reduced, which is surely preferable. If anyone thinks decisions even themselves out over the course of a season then they can’t have been watching the last 2 and a bit seasons of Pep’s football.
Sane got a dubious penalty at Middlesbrough a couple of years back and I had no sympathy for any of their 6 fingered fans cos we were still about 10 decisions behind on the “even themselves out” scale.
Things were much worse last season and we must have been a minimum 20 decisions away from being “even”.
Atkinson had the opportunity to point to the spot today for a stone wall penalty and all I could think of when he didn’t was his crossing arms signal following the assault on Aguero by Crashley Young towards the end of last seasons home derby as if Aguero had somehow managed to have his leg snapped in half all by himself.
VAR may not be brilliant and run as smoothly as it could, but the bull shit about things being evened out over the course of a season is exactly that! The sooner we start getting the decisions we are due, the sooner the rest of the league will see just how superior we actually are!
I know I'm in a minority of one, but his 'would-be celeb image and profile' aside, I always thought MC was a decent ref. We had some poor decisions made by him against us that have got into a few fans' heads, but fewer than other refs in my view. Always played the advantage and didn't blow up for solid but fair tackles. I expect to hear some revisits of his poorer decisions against us.Yep now he ain’t on the payrol being honest C@nt

Just because a person has a difference of opinion to you doesn't mean to say the other person talks rubbish. You talking rubbish 1 or 2 bad decisions and 7/8 positives decisions that would ended up 9/10 bad decisions without var so your wrong about var.
